So beautiful! I love passionflowers. They are native to my area, although you don't often see them growing wild.

My landlady grew one a couple of years back--soooo lovely, but then the cold weather came and that was it! :(
Do you know the story of the passion flower? Each part has a meaning. Many places on the Internet will tell you the story, it is very intereesting. I have a photo on my blog too as they grow in this area of Texas very well.
I'm going to look up the meanings, I had not heard about that, but I'm not surprised because this flower really is enchanting!
It is so beautiful. I have never seen anything like this flower.
