New Home

I've been absent from blogland for awhile during my move from Austin, TX to Okoboji, IA.

We are getting all settled in and we have a great home on the wetlands with lots of wildlife.

These Canada Geese are grazing right in my backyard.

Mama Goose built her nest right in front of my studio window.  

This is a view from our patio deck.  I can't wait to see the goslings!

Here are some newly hatched ducklings and a Canada Goose, another view from our patio deck.

I will share pictures of the wildlife in the wetlands often, and I've been inspired to do a series of wetland dolls.  I just completed my first one, but that's for another post.

My Deep Dark Little Secret...

I've been hiding something.... keeping something from all of you because it's weird.

Some of you will probably find it offensive.  

Some of you will say "She is much freakier than I guessed." 

And a select few will laugh out loud and say "That Rocks"!

I have a shop on Etsy called "Feti".

It is full of little embryo ornaments made of polymer clay.

Some are in the likeness of rock stars (Adam Lambert),

others are political figures (Sarah Palin),

and some are characters from the Twilight series.

ONE is a pair of conjoined twins called "Tiny Twins", and they have made their way into

 the REGRETSY book

by April Winchell

coming out this month.
